Bharat Sevashram Sangha is a vast network of volunteers across the globe dedicated to helping people in distress. The Sangha’s social welfare activities include disaster relief, spreading education, providing healthcare facilities, vocational training and upliftment of the tribals.
Raipur Branch of Bharat Sevashram Sangha was started in the year 1991 by Swami Buddhananda ji, first as a Hindu Milan Mandir and then at the present day location in Fafadih, with the objective of preaching Guru Maharaj’s teachings and spiritual awakening of the general masses . Subsequently, a school (BSS Pranavananda Academy) was started in the year 1997 at VIP Road, Raipur, initially as a primary school gradually becoming a Higher Secondary school affiliated to CBSE.
